Konkret Dark Grey (H12cm): the concrete look, without the hassle
More than a simple display, this ZIEHER piece plays with illusion: a strikingly realistic raw-concrete look, designed for everyday handling that real concrete would never allow. A way to structure a buffet with a mineral, contemporary vocabulary, without the weight constraints of a raw material.
An Authentic Concrete Look, Without the Weight
Cast from a blend of fibreglass and resin, this display captures the texture and shades of concrete with deceptive realism — grain, roughness, mineral tone — while remaining noticeably lighter and more resilient than a real concrete block. A hollow structure with an open base lightens the piece further and makes it easy to handle during service.
"Konkret!": A Name That Plays With Words
The collection's name wasn't chosen by chance. In German, "konkret" means "concrete, tangible" — as opposed to abstract. A play on words made possible by English: "concrete" refers to both the adjective and the material. In short: genuinely concrete solutions — lightness, versatility, stability, sturdiness — dressed in raw concrete looks.
A Modular Collection
Available in two shades — light grey and dark grey — and eight sizes from the most compact to the most imposing, this piece combines freely with the other heights in the Konkret collection to compose a fully personalised buffet relief, from a simple accent base to the most spectacular staggered display.
It also pairs naturally with tempered glass plates, in two configurations: on its own as a central base under a plate, to expand the serving surface with an airy, suspended look; or in pairs, with a plate sandwiched between them, for complementary lines that structure the buffet visually.
Match it with the Konkret XXL Drinks Display, set on the table or on its stand, lit or unlit, for a complete and coherent system.

Splash-resistant, this display cleans easily by hand. It is not dishwasher-safe.
