The GN Size, a Common Language
The Gastronorm standard (EN 631) sets container sizes from one base unit, the GN 1/1 at 53 x 32.5 cm. All other sizes come from it: two GN 1/2, three GN 1/3 or six GN 1/6 take up exactly the space of one GN 1/1. You can freely arrange the opening of your bain-marie or buffet, and your containers move from one piece of equipment to another without transferring food.
A Depth for Every Use
Shallow depths are ideal for plating, oven cooking and buffet displays; deeper ones hold sauces, side dishes and larger quantities. Stackable, the containers store neatly without crowding your shelves.
Lids and Accessories
Three stainless steel lids complete the range: solid, to cover food in the oven or in storage; with ladle notch, to serve without removing the lid; with silicone seal, for better protected storage in the cold room (this one is not oven safe). The perforated drainer plate keeps food away from its juices, and the adaptor bar lets you combine two smaller sizes in one opening.
